excellent?! Every time they played the ball in behind he was nowhere to be seen! Anyone who thinks he was better than ‘ok’ today needs to reassess what they expect of a premier league centre half.
Too many balls still seem to get behind him too easily.

He played well today as did the rest of the defence.
Think I've mentioned it a few times in the past mate, he has got a proper ten bob head.
That's what I find baffling mate, if he can attack a ball like that when we have a set piece, then why doesn't he do it when he's defending.
I know just doesnt seem to have the agression to win the ball when defending lad is well over 6 foot should be dominating in the air

I think what we're seeing is a better than 2017/18 Keane. Along with the rest of the squad who all seem to be putting in better performances than they did under any of our 3 managers last season.
But I still think he will be found out playing that slightly higher line that Silva prefers. So far, he hasn't been the disaster that we were expecting before the season started which can only be a positive. In fairness, he's probably a decent 3rd choice behind Mina, Zouma and Holgate.
