They’re expanding the stadium and had to start with 5 straight away games, with a new manager on top of that. A slow start was inevitable but they’re really playing well now. Couple big home games against the Galaxy and KC coming up.

Might be able to go to the July 15th match v LAFC. Will be in Portland, have friends there. Although might be in disastrous shape depending upon who is playing earlier in the day in the WC Final.

Yeah, their season start was on par with Everton's for difficulty...

Sorry to disappoint you but that match is in Los Angeles. They do have a home game on the 7th against San Jose, if you get there by then.

Absolutely go to a game in that stadium if you get a chance. Sections 109-111 and 209-210 are great seats for neutrals. They’re right next to the Timbers Army so you can see what they’re like up close without being expected to know all the words and chant for 90 minutes.
 
On another topic, Wayne Rooney’s new team blew a 3-0 halftime lead to Toronto. Then they took the lead back in the 90th minute, only to blow it again in stoppage time. Final score 4-4.

Watching this Seattle-Atlanta match and Brian Schmetzer has ruined the Sounders aesthetically. Just awful style and lots of snide and time wasting. If we had it in this country he would absolutely be a relegation specialist. Like BFS, except the initials stand for something else.

The biggest problem is that they lost all of their pace when Morris got hurt. Hopefully Ruidiaz halps.
 
They’ve been parking the bus and playing terrible football even when everyone was healthy. Schmetzer’s just Tony Pulis in a suit.
 
Sounds like Rooney had a clanger yesterday against Atlanta and got to whining and complaining as things started going wrong for DC. This could be a disaster for everyone except Everton.

DC is terrible and ATL is one of the best so hardly surprising lol but Rooney is no Zlatan

It was almost sad watching it, kept giving it away, actually helped make Atlantas opener, got booked, and hauled off on 70 minutes.

He's completely finished, he'll be a contender for biggest mls flop I reckon.
 
you would think that MLS would demand to be on FS1 or ESPN in the middle of the sprots wasteland that is mid-August but no. This is an extremely well run league.
 
Fair play that was an incredible effort in the 96th minute by Rooney.

Never seen him run that fast to get the tackle in and then a good ball for the winner.

He wasn’t happy about his keeper in the post match interview mind you
 
Sounders player intentionally headbutts Dallas player. Dallas player gets sent off. Was not even reviewed by VAR.
