He will need time to bed in looks a bit raw what little I have seen of him, saying that looks dominant in the air and its a long while since we have had that, added to his aggression, could be a big plus for us.
Hopefully with us having new midfielders and more attacking threat , the defenders arn't left as exposed as they were last season.

Mate just sent me this:

Yerry Mina was another possibility but United were put off by what they considered to be excessive agent fees. The sum in question is not clear but must be significant: United will say in private they hope Everton, who have signed the player from Barcelona, have not paid the same, on the basis it could seriously distort the fees demanded by agents in future.

Thoughts?
United weren’t so concerned at the money Raiola was paid in the Pogba transfer.

We’ve not had a proper big unit of a CB for years, we’ve been aerially exposed defensively more times than I can remember in recent seasons, this lad helps reduce that, as well as offering a massive threat at the other end of the pitch.

I thought he looked great at the WC and didn’t think for a minute he’d end up in the royal blue, chuffed with this one. The fee will end up looking an absolute bargain,
