Fly in Mina and his uncle on transfer deadline day. Make sure his medical takes as long as possible... then have Contract Dave do a vanishing act in the last hour of the window and leave them both and Barca in the lurch

I hope everyone realizes Everton has all the power in this situation. No way Lyon is paying what we are, Man U is signing someone else, and Barca knows they have to move him. Either he goes very soon, or they lose millions in the deal. He's coming our way, folks.

That's why I can see a Lyon loan deal for now. Next few days are certainly going to be interesting. Brands doesn't strike me as someone who is messed around. If we're still in for him at this stage he must think we stand a good chance.
