Usmanov

As to Browns tweet
Usmanov is hardly going to admit to having an interest in Everton while he owns 30% of Arsenal

and am sure his mates just don't hang out on the streets to be quoted. even if the quotes are real that he isn't interested
why would he tell his friends what he is doing business wise

Mate I would let Hitler take over our club as long as we won trinkets.

You honestly think anybody cares how the fella made his money?

Heard he conquered Europe for four straight years, if he brought that here I would be ecstatic.

It is only a report that Usmanov is willing to sell his shares to the Arsenal owner nothing concrete.

What baffles me is the hysteria on here about the man, there has been no inkling or suggestion anywhere that he would wish to buy into our club so why all the panic?

Get with the program, we are going to be rich. Filthy. Stinking. Rich. :)

Look at it this way, supporting Everton is the equivalent of being Cinderella whilst she lives with her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, always taking the brunt of everyone and everything. Usmanov is like our fairy godmother wearing his frilly blue tutu, ready to wave his sparkly bank card all up in our grill. It gives us hope and something to believe in, get on board as even though it may never happen it is still better to feel that things could change than for it to always remain the same.

Not in the UK. Bill Grundy was an English television presenter and host of Today, a regional news programme broadcast on Thames Television. He's best known for his Sex Pistols interview

I guess the reason people will always connect him to the club is that he has already sponsored the training ground as well as Moshiri being his right hand man for years. Maybe just maybe, he would be willing to come on board full time.

I'm not saying I disagree with this posit but I don't see how it's connected with that Bill Grundy interview

Hopefully there is no smoke without fire, as a fanbase we’ve had an awful time of it. Why can’t we just land on our feet once. And rejoin the elite.

I think it’s more likely Everton ends up skint again after Usmanov gets more or less banned from the UK. Personally I like living in a free society, so it would still be worth it.
