Usmanov

He’s never coming here, don’t do this to yourselves! We’re Everton, Bill will end up buying more shares and becoming the majority shareholder :coffee:

Well that's the best source we have had so far on him selling the shares.

As much as I would love him here I will believe it when I see it. But this is the strongest indicator yet. Yes there are no guarantees he would come here, but the signs do point that he would IF he sold his shares.

Why would he buy into us when USM are already majority shareholders?

If he sells Arsenal he'll invest in another club.

It would make very little sense for him to invest in another club, when a close friend and business partner have already started the process of investing in Everton. It's not impossible, but from a business perspective highly unlikely.

It is strange how someone with links to the club say that.

I would absolutely love it to happen more so it will instantly make us more attractive to the media, manager and players/agents having one of the richest men in the world own us.

I just dont see how he will come in considering Moshiri will own around 58% of the club - why would Usmanov want to be a minor partner when he has always been the main man out the two, unless Moshiri sells a bulk of his stake to Usmanov and revert to a minor partner I just cant see it.

There may well be a rights issue, and a possibility that the debt could be turned into shares. On both counts there is a possibility that upwards of 300 million could be put into the club (some presumably for the stadium and other for squad spend over the next 2-3 years) which would mean a potential investor would get a far more favourable share of the club.

It could also be that Blue Holdings may own 90%+ of the club and they then sort out between them which of them has which share of the club internally.

If Usmanov were to come, and it has been a clear 2 year plan then I wouldn't imagine the formal machinations of how many shares are currently available at the club as of this minute would be a particularly big stumbling block.

I'm sure this has been said somewhere in this thread but I just don't see how Usmanov is going to sell his Arsenal shares. He has a 30% stake but they're absolutely worthless because he has no power or no voice at the club. He might as well have just put his money in the bank and bought a season ticket.
Kronke has all the power and all the say at Arsenal so unless he buys the shares off Usmanov then I don't see him selling any time soon. He's had his 30% up for sale for 2 or 3 years at least so this is nothing new.

The one thing we do know is that HE WILL invest in Everton when he can.
