Computer games.

Any idea on this as Google is not my friend.

If you choose a pro in career mode and retire, will you get their character model as manager?

Want to give Dark Souls a go - there seem to be a few of them, what one would you recommend starting with? It would be on an xbox.
I hate to be cliche, but the first is by far the best. The traveling system may drive you a bit mad, but the game felt original and the magic was there. Apart from blight town, the design is interesting and the atmosphere is brilliant.

The second game has it’s moments and is worth playing, but it rips off the 1st quite a bit and some of the level designs are downright stupid. The 3rd is a bit meh

Thks - finished the witcher 3 a bit ago which I thought was absolutely exceptional, but largely down to the story and characterisation - gameplay was easy. So it's possible that I'll find Dark Souls to be ball-achingly difficult, but fancy a change.

They've recently released a remaster of the original on all systems so go for that if you decide to jump in.

I genuinely don't think it is as difficult as people make out.

There's a steep learning curve with the mechanics, but in comparison to a lot of the games I played as a kid on the old NES or Amiga systems, it isn't so bad!

Try to play it blind, without spoilers on your first play through, but if you need some non-spoiler tips to get you started, lemme know ;)

My four favorite games ever, in order of preference:

1) Demons Souls - INCREDIBLY hard (especially some of the bosses), atmospheric as hell, insanely addicting and brilliantly original.
2) Dark Souls - see above, but not quite as hard due to improved mechanics. Brilliant world building.
3) Dark Souls 3 - aesthetically superior, more accessible, great world building, better than.......
4) Dark Souls 2 - not a bad game, but very 'different' than the others. Difficulty increased a notch due to the same death mechanics PLUS your health bar reduces......

Bloodborne is fantastic too.

Cant go wrong with any of these games.

Been playing Elite Dangerous (Frontier Edition) It doesn't try very hard to be accessible and some of it seems wilfully counter-intuitive (Hello Galaxy Map) but I'm slowly getting to grips with it.

Managed to get a few million together, bought a fancy new ship and got kitted up before heading to a conflict zone. Accidentally flew a bit close to some massive Federation ship and was utterly destroyed in no time whatsoever. Back to cargo missions for a bit maybe.
