That way you'll finish above him if nothing else

Fantastic work.

Hey chaps, just a quick query. I've been challenged by a good friend of mine £100 that everton wont finish above spurs this year. After negotiating he's agreed that he'll pay out 2 to 1 on the bet (yep, he's that cocksure) but he has given me the weekend to bite the bullet as it were. Any thoughts, £300 is a lot of dollar round my way, but, despite a dodgy start I'm fairly certain we will finish top 6, with Spurs somewhere there abouts too. What to do, what to do........

Did you take it lad? We still have a chance, now. I'm well rooting for you on this one.

If we win our last 2 games, we have a chance of finishing 6th, we need Spurs to lose at anfield and draw or lose to Birmingham on the final day, COYB!

Not forgetting us beating a team thats only lost once at home since January 1st, and the reigning champions, of course.

Nah, I didnt take this up in the end, instead struck a bet for £50 that Spurs wouldnt qualify for Champs League which is a defo a good thing and that his lot wouldnt win any trophies this year so earned myself a nice bit of money.

Couldnt justify that kind of wager when I wasnt really certain to be honest, I should probably have had more faith in Moyse's late season surge but after the start we had (losing at Blackburn ect) didnt risk it! Still think it could happen now tho, and I bet the odds are much better now too!!(y)(y)
