Russian No.17 - playing right midfield and chasing every ball reminded me of a player who played a similar in the 66 World Cup.........

Yeah but there is turning a quick profit and selling him on before the ink has even dried on his contract!
I think a quick sale will suit both Frankfurt and Rebic, he didn't exactly set the world alight there.

Personally, I think he's having a wonderful World Cup surrounded by world-class players and will return to mediocrity once he's away from the national team.

He was on loan to them from Fiorentina and has just signed to stay on at Frankfurt after taking up the option to buy him. He has literally just became their player!

He scored 2 goals in the cup final against Bayern Munich to win them their first trophy in ages as well so he must be doing alright there!

I could be (and probably am) wrong about when he signed for them but he has done well there.

You were right.

I knew he signed this summer but I can understand Frankfurt wanting to turn a very quick profit, his value may never be higher again.

I hadn't a clue about the German cup final though, obviously an amazing achievement for Rebic and Frankfurt. Aside from that, his goalscoring record hasn't ever been good though.

They are not going to sell someone they have just bought though. Things like that never happen (David Unsworth aside...)

He has got around 1 in 5 for Eintracht. That's pretty good for a player who is not an out and out striker.
