I thought that, was he on our books then - yes he was just looked it up - only 12 appearances costly at £80,000.....
Hated that donkey kick trick goal he scored with Willie Carr v us at Coventry. It was shown all the time on the tv sports shows when I was at school. It wouldnt be allowed now.
It was banned shortly after as other teams started doing it - the reason was two feet by the free kick taker are not allowed to touch the ball as it is, and was defined as kicking the dead ball twice!

Frank Wignall ex Everton player gave Labby a torrid time too- Big Joe was out injured but Jimmy Husband netted two - Andy Rankin had a panicky game too - 2-1 up Storey -Moore turned the game.....
