He’s a 2nd tier international. Not sure why he’s being heralded as the second coming when he was bang average at Bolton.

For me he' perfect age. Keep Baines as a back up this season but maybe give either Robinson or Connolly the chance as back up if Baines wants first team football. If either of the youngsters is good enough that is the position covered for next 4-5 seasons of not we should be looking to buy a decent back up next summer 5 or 6 years younger and when he starts falling off the cliff we will have a ready made replacement about 26-27 and repeat to fade.
