There was a great Charlemagne article in this week's Economist that reminded me of this thread.

Which states that the ‘bill’ is not exact and is within a range, and that if there is no agreement made then we may not pay it anyway and it may then go to court. Now once again, where are these ‘facts’......

I genuinely told myself I’m going to drop out of posting on this thread, because it’s just cyclical, but it drags me back in . Let’s be fair Pete there were a number of absolute falsehoods , I understand at least a couple possibly just in error, posted in the last week that I have pointed out and it wasn’t by a remainer . To further labour the point insults have also been thrown the other way .

It’s clearly something which gets people passionate whatever their position and we can see that further afield than just in this thread .
