After all these years still can’t get my head round the fact that he actually played for us!

It is probably the only time in my life that Everton have or will sign my favourite player in world football. Honestly couldn't believe when we were linked with him... then he actually signed ... them he was actually better than I could have imagined

Since 1985-1987, Andrei and Peter Beardsley are the ONLY two players since that era even worthy of mentioning in the same sentence as anyone from those title winning teams. Period.

I was devastated when we sold Beardsley , for 1m too, to fund a failed bid for dion Dublin ? Actual WTF?

He was better than hazard IMO much bigger goal threat and used to destroy teams on his day and unlike most wingers of his type... his day happened a lot
