Was never a foul..... they both went in 100% committed to win the ball... ramos was stronger...plays the ball then both playes tumbled....it probably happens 3 or 4 times a game in every game.
This.

Salah took him on and came unstuck by the stronger, and experienced Ramos.

Are you old enough to remember City's Bert Trautman breaking his neck in the 56 final?

..I know the story well, Matey, but that was the year I was born. I first went to City for the 66 FA Cup game and I think Harry Dowd was in goal. George Heslop (ex-Everton) was Centre half. Worst memory was being on the Kippax floor for 3 mins not knowing Bryan Hamilton’s last minute ‘winner’ had been disallowed in the semi-final against Liverpool.

Alas. Fond memories (and not so) mate.

The fact that since the final Liverpool the club and their supporters have blamed a GK and Ramos for their snotting is great news. I'd be far more concerned if they were coolly assessing where it went wrong and what they have to do to get better and win trophies. Their reaction underlines to me that they remain at the emotional level and are not serious contenders for any major trophy - and that's even if they add 2/3 more very good players.

Petitions and lynch mobs are what we need to continue to see from that lot.

Good point, hopefully their areas of weakness are unidentifiable in amongst all the hysteria. Having said that, surely not even the flooding tears and wailing screeches of the kopites will distract Liverpool of finding a new goalkeeper. I will be astounded if he ever plays for them again.

But some have said they'll challenge City for the title.

Have no idea where they're basing this from though

Spurs that came 3rd (should have been 2nd!), 2nd and 3rd in the last three seasons are never mentioned as title contenders despite finishing above the RS 8 times in the last 9 seasons. According to the experts the RS are the only team that can challenge City nest year.

..let’s not forget that most of those tv experts are ex-Liverpool players. Lineker is at least ex-Everton and Spurs.

The '56 Trautmann final was the first I remember.

The only cup game in '66 I missed was Man City away. I saw all the home games, was at Bedford for the 4th round, at Molyneux mid-week for the 6th round second replay against Man City (bus straight from school to city centre, then onto a football special to the game), Burnden Park for the semi against ManUre, and in the scoreboard end at the Trebilcock final a few weeks later.

And I was in the Kippax end for the Hamilton semi-final. Tommy Smith tried to kick the crap out of McKenzie all game that day - never got near him.

We'll give them a chance next season.
We'll play Bravo, as long as they play Karius: )

That may well be so, but just like the rs, you will not get near to the title.....just like us...
