Champions League Final

I thought apart from Bale and their goalie the whole Real team were gash but yeah a beautiful morning to wake up to, I celebrated long last night consoling my kopite mate and tried hard not to fall apart laughing, it was difficult you couldn't have scripted last night for a comedy.

Had you had a few? After the opening exchanges, Real showed they were a class apart. They were very composed on the ball, I thought Marcelo was particularly good. The RS didn’t get much of a look in all game, they looked dangerous going forward but it never turned in to anything. Ramos and his defence marshalled the RS very effectively.

Thought modric still looked quality, once the game settled he dictated

Liverpool did their typical straight out of the blocks thing for 30 minutes, then Real just got a hold of the game and gave them a lesson in winning

Even then, they only had one shot from Arnold.

I had a good feeling about it not long after kick-off. The BT Sport commentators were going on as if the RS were brilliant for the first half hour. They weren’t, they just had some raids that turned in to nothing.

The one thing I’ll give the RS credit for was that I thought they defended well as a unit until they fell apart.

They saw off that first 20/25 mins when the RS come out like a train to blow the opposition away and then gradually eased them themselves ahead . The RS win those games in that period when they just have too much , RM got through that and were comfortable for me after that .

Thought Modric was superb .

Yes mate I had quite a few especially after the game:) I still think they were under par and were giving the ball away a lot first half and tended to kick it anywhere out of defence, but yeah they settled down in the second half and were more composed and stringing their passes together and their experience eventually shone through. But for me they were far from their best and they did give Liverpool too many sights at goal for my liking.
