Usmanov

I dont like getting into politics but how does this even become a factor when current the UK PM approved strikes in Syria based on lies along with Blair who murdered thousands of people with the WMD lie.

Not to mention centuries of pillaging AKA the “crusades” & the British Empire. The invention of the concentration camp or the treacherous betrayal of Palestine.

Selective outrage is so now.

Does Usmanov need a visa? We don't want a situation like Chelsea where Abramovich isn't getting a visa because of bad relations with Russia

I don’t see why this Wild be seen as such a game changer? Moshiri has the means to build a stadium (through brokering deals), pay high transfer fees, and pay high wages. With FFP in place we can’t do any more than we already are. Our problem has been that we can’t attract talent or have bought the wrong type of players. Chucking even more money at it (even if we were allowed to) wouldn’t do us any good without us having the right strategy in place.

The likes of City aren’t outbidding us on players financially, the top 6 can sell CL football and trophies whilst we don’t, that gives them access to the higher level of player. I don’t see how Usmanov changes that for us.

It would be a game changer because literally only psg and city would be richer than us

I should start by saying I honestly don't think this is happening. In answer to the question though, having someone like Usmanov on board just changes the whole complexion of things. He's a genuine global superpower from a business perspective, his cash, contacts, name etc would instantly make us a different proposition. You'd find that sponsors, kit manufacturers etc who wouldn't usually be interested in little old Everton would suddenly come out of the woodwork in order to be associated with Usmanov and the potential wider benefits he could bring them.

It would be a game changer because although we wouldn't be able to attract players because of our current status...we'd be able to double any players wage from virtually any club...that tends to make us more attractive...and hence change our current status

We can double anyone’s wage now. The problem is that FFP won’t let us, or we can’t attract the players we want anyway regardless of what we pay them.

We’re richer than Spurs now, we’re arguably able to pay the same as Chelsea and Liverpool, we will probably have a bigger transfer pot this summer than Arsenal. So far, it hasn’t translated into success.

If people think that in NSNO there is no implied morality we should skip the puppet and see if the man Putin himself is interested in "investing". Apparently he has eye watering wealth. He could also use a some of his associates to ahem "persuade" a few footballers to join us.

I think you're missing the point. As you said, we can currently offer the same as Liverpool. As they're in the CL and generally better known than us, that means that most players will choose them over us. If we could blow them out of the water with wages, suddenly a few players (and more importantly, agents) who wouldn't normally think twice about us think we're an extremely attractive proposition.
