tbh im amazed we got 8th. we looked dead an buried.
the results improved , as did the squad with the additions of Walcott and tosun , but the style and implementation of football was below the standard we demand.
so thanks sam for keeping us up , but no thanks.

the players are also just as guilty as sam though and we need a huge clear out and a rebuild.
first out the door for me would be schneiderlin Williams and bolasie, with 4 or 5 more to follow.

Is this uncommon or even appropriate for a manager who was with a club for less than a year? Definitely feel like the Everton Public Relations area has instructed players to make no comments at all on this...

It may not even have been necessary. Can you think of a single player who BFS’s tenure was good for?

"Allardyce said: “I'm shocked, disappointed and disgusted that the football club didn't have the decency to tell me, my Director of Football and my staff about the changes."

Walsh is clearly next. happy days

It reminds me (away from football) for anyone who know's the film Casablanca. The French police (Claude Rains) instruct to shut down a bar says "i'm shocked, shocked to find gambling here" and then some one goes to him " your winnings!.."

Don't see how Sam can play victim - look at what he has earned from being sacked:

However, Allardyce has six million reasons to feel upbeat after receiving another tasty pay-off to add to his collection.

Big Sam pocketed a stunning £6m after being told to pack his bags
The extra £6million in his bank account means Allardyce has now received an incredible £13.5m from clubs throughout his career.

In total, Allardyce raked in £11m for his 167-day stint as Everton boss - which works out at an incredible £65,868 PER DAY.

The FA handed over £1m when he was let go by England in 2016 – despite being caught on camera allegedly advising undercover reporters how to breach rules on third-party ownership.

Allardyce banked £2.5m when he was sacked by Blackburn Rovers in 2010, while just two years before receiving £4m from Newcastle – allowing him to invest in a stunning Spanish mansion.

And back in 1996, Allardyce was paid £10,000 to leave Blackpool after they missed out on promotion to League One by a single point.
