Some very sad and weird people that support them,that want to be Everton fans,and the answer to the question is 1 million% no,no matter if some will claim its good for England or the prem league,or the city,or makes the league the number 1 as some like to claim the leagues the best based on who wins euro comps etc

True story this. Brother won a box at Croke Park for an Ireland vs Slovakia match.
Free food beer and a hotel for the night for 10 people.
Aldo was our host and told a few stories about playing under Jack Charlton.
We had a dolly bird there as well making sure everything went well
Also was chatting her up big time.
Second the match was over the pair of them pissed off together
 

I'll probably head out with a few mates on the night of the final. Get out early, get a good table near the screen and make sure to take one of them little on/off universal remotes you can get on Ebay.

Hopefully enough of their "hardcore" fans who chant at the TV, clap at the TV, know everything about the game but have only seen Anfield on the TV despite it only being a short drive up the East Lancs will get annoyed and go watch it elsewhere.

Prescot Cables in the playoff final this Saturday - a much bigger game.
 
When I lived in Liverpool, I despised them. When they were under Houllier and Benitez especially. But then I moved away, and was quite frankly amazed at how many people despise Liverpool as a city and scousers as a whole, mostly the ones who have NEVER been there (I'm talking about the South of England). So the way I look at it, any competition that Everton are not in, I do not begrudge them of success. Merseyside used to be the capital of football, now it's third to Manchester and London and has been for a while. I'm also disillusioned with our fans telling Sam to F*** OFF. What happened to the so called Peoples Club? Because many in our fanbase are certainly not acting like it.
