It's not per se his record as our manager. His whole ethics and contempt are what makes him such a bad fit for us.

I can buy the argument that these are not his players, I can understand he came in to do a job and has achieved the target set when he arrived - even though I did not consider us ever in danger.

I can't accept the football style, rolling over against "bigger" teams, the sneer, the snarl, contempt for fans, taking credit for medocrity, implying we should be grateful, blaming everyone else for bad results, the arrogance, the koppites in his set up and most ofcall his reputation for alleged bungs.

Please remove this person from our club.

Unfortunately he believes that we the mighty Everton should be as grateful to him as WHU, NUFC, Sunderland or Palace for his deigning to save us from nosediving into the Championship or yoyo-ing each season - he thinks of us in the same category as them. This a self fulfilling prophecy as the longer we allow the abhorrent person to be a part of us we will become more like them. Our ambitious goal for next season will be to not get drawn into a relegation battle (that's all he knows)... wildly successful season would be a seventh place finish... Blue Bill 'reassured' us that we will keep all our players... we don't f-ing want them, we want better ones and our ambition and plan for 2018/19 should be Top Six bare minimum. No we are not good enough now but our ambition cannot be to be 'not good enough' next year.

I'm not enjoying this hatred of 'our manager'.
He came in to do a job and has delivered results. It's more about character assassination for some, no matter what happens on the pitch.

I'd love to see free-flowing footy, but that wasn't going to happen this season, whoever came in, with the confidence of our players having fallen through the floor.

Frankly I find it all a little embarrassing.

I find it embarrassing that an absolute arsehole like Allardyce has been allowed anywhere, other than the away teams dug out, near Goodison.

It is simply the fact him sticking around writes us off for another season before a ball has been kicked. Maybe a new manager might be a complete disaster but at least you get that initial phase of optimism/hope there could be a belief instilled around the club.

Retaining Allardyce is selling short every single Evertonian who wants us to be successful again. The man is so deluded and stuck in his ways he doesn't even see his limitations; that is why he has never addressed them and he never will.

What saddens me most. Allardyce has the opportunity to ram the criticism (over his style of play) down their throats. However he has reverted to type and shown that his ‘style’ of football is as outdated as it ever was, despite Everton achieving safety some weeks ago. Yes he has achieved a top 10 finish, but at some cost. With some boring, sterile football and contempt for the club’s supporters.

Nope. Can't honestly remember a more disappointing season than this, especially after all the talk of "watch this space, things will never be the same" etc etc.

I dared to hope.

What a tit.
Feeling like the other tit for the same reasons, I thought this was going to be inevitably a better season than last but it has just been one disappointment after another. just pathetic.
