We won 2-0 today and I didn’t enjoy it. We beat Newcastle 1-0 last time and I didn’t enjoy it. We’ve won two on the spin and yet I feel deflated. Absolutely bizarre feeling this way about the club I love.

Unfortunately, this will not change until at the very least this tedious bell leaves. Bonus points for Kenwright, Walsh, Lee, Shakespeare and half the players leaving in the summer too.

I just don't know what we'll do with that extra £17 we'll get for all of them.

Perhaps if Allardyce had accepted the original offer of 6 months the level of vitriol might have been lessened and the discussion about him continuing would have been more measured. Although the poor shot free football would have still counted against him.
Instead it feels like he forced himself on us and after 6 months he still has the aura of an unpleasant interloper at our club rummaging through our possessions.

On the subject of tonight's MOTD, how on earth does a programme editor leave out by far the best bit of football in the whole game -- Coleman's miss after a nice move down the flank ending wth Vlasic putting a lovely back heel into his path.
