What's really pissing me off is that I had a lovely little jaunt to Kiev in February. Those memories are going to be tainted forever now. Can't have anything nice in this life.

Think we need to accept the stars have aligned for them here. Easiest group in CL history, easiest last 16 draw, City playing right into their hands, Roma putting Barca out then them getting the easiest semi final draw. It’s all gone their way.

I dont believe in that sort of stuff mate. I believe they are good enough to win and if they do it'll be because they did something right against at least one top side.

That said, if Madrid are the team they face I'll see them as favourites to win it. Liverpool are inexperienced and Madrid could have them on the ropes in 10 minutes given their mastery of this final.

They are in the zone this Liverpool team.

They may well ride their form all the way to winning the CL. They must be joint favourites with Madrid right now. It's utterly horrendous to watch.

But hold onto this thought: for all their fine form and goals and blitzing teams - so far they've won nothing...and neither has their manager for about 5 years. How devastating for them would it be to lose that final? It would be sweet as a 'kin nut to see them crying bucket loads in Kiev with a season they got nothing from.

That scenario is still a very realistic one given the cast iron assurance they'll be playing a class team in the final

Reds were absolutely made up to draw Roma and I can see why now.

Let us not forget that away at Roma is not an easy feat for any European club, and those two away goals will help them a lot. Not even thinking about them in the final at the moment. Makes me sick

It’s my only hope mate. If there is one team in world football who know how to get the job done in finals, it’s Real Madrid. Saying that they are going to have to show an awful lot more (form wise) in the remaining games of the season. In contrast klopp’s record in finals is awful, but alas I see them favourites to win in based on their performances against city and tonight against Roma.

Salah understandably gets the headlines but the way Firminho makes the ball stick up front gives them the platform to attack. The amount of breaks he gets isn't down to chance.

Salah has won it for them on his own just like Messi or Ronaldo did for Barca and Madrid in the past. They are the top scores in the comp by a mile,can't believe it's happened as I thought like most they would struggle a bit when Coutinho left,but they have got better.

Yep, I think this myself, very important to Salah. I do think though that they are average without either. It showed when Salah went off.

They really have, it's just made them more solid in midfield. Coutinho never really had the pace, now it's just all out blitz.

Similar football to the year they ballsed up the league. Get the ball up top as quickly as possible and let your world class player do the rest.

Mate I don't know if you are in Liverpool but we are surrounded by them here friends family work mates the lot its a killer mate.
