If we don’t get rid of him in the summer, then next season will be an exact repeat of this. We’ll have a mediocre start (Sam only does mediocre) - the fans will make his position untenable after someone like Arsenal smash us, and we’ll be scrambling around for a new manager in November.
Learning from previous mistakes seems silly

Thursday in London if the reports are correct reading his body language post match interview last night Sam was a bag of nerves chattering the same crap remind yourselves one shot on target less corners than Newcastle!
Our passing is always in our own half - you could only here Newcastle fans last night apart from when we scored with our only shot on target - BK and the Mosh faces for most of that game looked grim rightly so!

Exactly we will be back on the merry go round. And the circle of decline will continue. People wanting stability and consistentcy have a point but his ceiling is top ten he won't build to anything more due to his tactics and negative mindset. We desperately need a young hungry manager who will play attacking football.

Sorry, I mean't within the club the atmosphere is toxic.

I think people are renewing based on a new manager next season, if the unthinkable happens then there'll be loads of tickets going spare next season. I know loads of lads who don't even bother going now.

Let's both pray he goes, for the good of the club.
Totally agree with this. Apart from the two blokes either side of me, there has been a stream of different people )for the last few matches in the few rows in front and behind where I sit - no doubt buying their tickets on stub hub (many of them from abroad, with no particular allegiance to Everton. Think quite a few season ticket holders have just given up and also think it's why there haven't been the chants of "Allardyce out" we were hoping for.

Its the clubs motto mate.

And for by definition of the meaning we have not been good enough for a very long time.

Arsenal - Victory Through Harmony
Elgin City - Thus We Reach the Stars
Rangers - Ready (!?)
Sunderland - In Pursuit of Excellence
Queens Park - To Play for the Sake of Playing
Stoke City - United Strength is Stronger
Spurs - To Dare is to do.

It means nothing. Queens Park's is the only one that is adhered to or makes sense.

And before someone else says "Its the clubs motto" I know it is! I am saying mottos mean nothing because they obviously don't. They look good on a badge or a T shirt.

Hang on, you were there were you not? You could have started a chant of "Allardyce out". You would have looked a fool, but only because there was no anti Allardyce noises at all from our fans. Also don't tell me that the absence of a few season ticket holders had any impact on anything. The vast majority were there alright as we always are, including you. What bothers me among many things regarding Allardyce, is his repeated claim of great support at the home games, including last night. Subdued would be more accurate though it didn't stop me giving shoit to certain players for consistent crap passing.
