New Everton Stadium Discussion

Missing the top teir ;)
You've added a definate article for no reason
'top teir' was already defined and discribed by the phrase 'much reduced' and further qualified by 'totally missing'
You did however fail to spot the 'ed' on the end of muched

Now if we were talking about 'The ASDA' or 'Everton'

For the first time that I'm aware of Joe Anderson has mooted the posibility of the council borrowing all £500m of funding.
It would be a horrendously difficult sell politically though would presumeably provide better repayment rates than the private funding which we're seemingly struggling to raise.
What are the odds that's where we'll end up given we've already had one evolution from the council acting only as guarantor to now being proposed as direct borrower of more than half of the required £500m?

It ain't happening if that's the proposal.

I think the original bid was £600,000, but then he broke his leg and the doubts over his full recovery meant that we got him for just £60,000. What a steal.
Was it not the New Year's Day 1979 game -v- Bolton (at Burden Park) when the game got called off at half-time due to the worsening snow conditions? He slid in to challenge George Woods for a ball but came off worse and either broke his leg or ruptured his knee ligaments. Couldn't believe how that game was even allowed to start never mind get to half-time. But, of course, once the match did start they had to play the whole first half otherwise refund the fans.

Yes, we did the damage and then benefitted from it.

The quality of today's derby proved that we need an 80,000 seat stadium. I imagine Everton is everybody's second team because we play such eye-catching togger. Need a massive new stadium to cater to our global fan base who'll flock to Merseyside to watch them play.

What the ???? does that even mean ?

It means he got drunk, went to the tattoo parlour and wanted the Everton crest all over his back, but push come to shove he chickened out and said he'll have 1878 on his arm instead.

Expect he has only done this so at some point he can pen a 61 at the front of that so we all lose our minds, only to say 54k is perfect a couple of weeks later.
