Was talking about this the other day with my mates in the pub.

As much as I loathe this joker, his tenure will have to be considered a success.

Take away the lack of shots, take away the dismal away performances (let’s not forget he’s won 2 more away games than Koeman did in a year) and look at what he’s done, it has to be considered “good”.

He took us from being relegation candidates, (especially after that 4-1 drubbing to Southampton) and consolidated ourselves in midtable, with a bit more consistency away we’d probably be 7th right now.

He sorted the home form out.

Arsenal, Spurs, Burnley at home this season was dismal. Yet he came in and has picked up 5 wins in 8 isn’t it at home?

Made some very good signings in Walcott and Tosun.

Not that I considered it a “success”, but he’s had two cracks at winning a derby at the pit and came close twice!

So whether you like him or not, he’s actually done a job. But please, don’t be looking at like this Moshiri, swerve him, Elstone off please!

We don’t finish the game with 11 men

Salah scores at least 1

They get a penalty

The OOT tramps in the away section bring some ‘hilarious’ banner with them

I just hope the 10% don't get what they wish for. Truly.
He will be replaced after this season but this thread wasnt about that. Ultimately this thread is about importance of the derby and about people who go against the grain...against the narrative created by media and us fans. And the narrative is "he will be replaced in any case"
