It was too much money for him IMO. Not a big fan myself, but he's not old for a CB and he's got size and some natural gifts. A bit too early to give up on him as we haven't seen him with a legit, permanent manager, but wouldn't be upset to see him off, either. No matter what, we need a dominant CB in the summer as bad as anything. Someone that can actually mark someone in space.

Like with all koemans signings, I'm willing to see how they do under a progressive manager, hopefully next season. Keane needs a leader next to him. I'd be tempted to bid for Cahill. Sure he's not that young anymore but he's the type we need and we'd get a few good seasons out of him and he might be just the partner Keane needs

Losing his ingerlund place might be the kick up the arse he needs. The lad needs a settled partner who is not a clown. Play him and jags till the end of the season then judge him.

On a side note. I can't wait for the wc. watching England crash and burn is going to be hilarious. I'd say it pushes euro 92 as the worst squad I've ever seen.

All my Chelsea mates think he’s gone off a cliff. They also complain that his biggest problem is being massively inconsistent. Too many calamitous errors. He’s also slow. Basically exactly the same as Keane but older....

The few times he actually wins a header it goes the complete opposite direction to where he's trying to head it. Be gone with this donkey
