As I pass another year today, all these people expiring of late certainly brings your own mortality into focus.
I just hope for another ten years of reasonable life, including a new stadium , then I'll be happy to depart this mortal coil.

Loved Bully and Jim Bowen.

He lived in Hornby in Lancashire and ran a pub there. We were staying in a nearby hotel and got talking to him in the pub. Nice man. He said he was a teacher originally and that his daughter was currently teaching in Beijing.
