No contest is it. The fella might be coming to the end of his career but it sure looked good to see him back at left back today.

Absolutely love him, in my Top 5 Everton players of the last 10 years, for 4 or 5 of those, he was the best left back in Europe, and his goals and assists stats back that right up.

He's been a great servant to this club, and had a great game back today.

Saw it coming and made sure he was out the way, no rolling about on the floor, it was there for all to see.

Only just seen that tackle(assault) on Baines on MOTD ,where was the reaction from our players? hardly anybody confronted Knockaert. Does that point to the lack of harmony and team spirit currently at the club?

But usually after an appalling tackle your teammates sprint over angrily to berate the culprit,nobody even broke into a jog towards him.

But Seamus Coleman did. He had a right go at the lad.

There was no need to surround the ref considering he brought out the red immediately.

Very fortunate Baines' foot wasn't planted when that tackle came in. Nasty tw@ of a player that Knockaert. Remember watching the Brighton v Arsenal game last weekend and when Brighton were winning and he got subbed, he was kicking chairs (with coaching staff in) from the sub bench.
