I've said on this thread many times before. This fella is the root of disarray on the pitch. Almost impossible to have done a worse job as DoF, £250m recruitment of mercenaries on obscene contracts without any fight, pride, bottle. Add Williams, Bolassie, Klaasen, Rooney, Schneiderlin to our resident altar boys Jags and Baines and you've got the reason for a shameful season.
Not saying Koeman, Allardyce aren't culpable, they are, but this [Poor language removed] clown is supposed make the big strategic decisions - every one he's got spectacularly wrong.
There's no down side to sacking him now, even it's symbolic, it sends out a message from Moshiri he's not a soft touch and won't continue to reward abject failure.

Back in the day I thought, like others, this might work out, as it had for other teams. Bring stability, take pressure off the manager, put focus on building a squad for the long term, etc.
Instead, we got the opposite. No stability, no plan, no focus and a mishmash of management.

Has a DoF role ever worked in english footy? There musy have been the odd one success but I cant think of one
