I actually think getting rid of Walsh is more important than getting rid of Big Sam. Hes messed up big time and lost us millions and millions of pounds. One thing Sam will do is keep us up and probably get top half. Its the step after that, he cant do. Bombing Walsh out should be Moshiri's number 1 priority now or at the very latest in the summer. When does Walsh's contract expire? Anyone know?

%100 this

I know there was some talk of Walsh just wanting to go back to scouting. He is probably well equipped to do just that. That's a lot of $$$ on the books, but he's worth more than nothing. Move him into a senior scout role and get on with it.

So would cost us money again to get rid of him. FFS

Think I read it somewhere that he's on about a million a year mate, so to get shut at the end of this season just over a £2m pay out, hopefully we get shut off Allardyce as well (unless we have a disastrous end to the season though he'll still be here IMO) so that would be another £6m, we really do like paying compo out don't we.

Walsh cannot do any damage until the transfer window opens again and even then he needs the board to back his decisions. Fat Sam will put teams out to get a clean sheet and anything after that is a bonus. Fat Sam won't save us, the utter trash beneath us will keep us up. Fat Sam will continue to make us everyone's most hated opponent, not because we might beat you but because we won't give you a game and we will bore the life out of you fans.
Fat Sam's Everton v Fat Sam's Everton, if it was possible would be worst match of all time. I would have a substantial wager on that one being nil nil and Fat Sam being beside himself with excitement.

Biggest nail in the Big Sam coffin was yesterday. He takes the players away to Dubai. Can you discern one piece of training from that trip that paid off yesterday?A blueprint for how we would win the game apart from keep solid and hope to nick one?Did the players look inspired?Did they look refreshed? There was nothing. Big Sam does nothing except keep teams safe that's all he does.

Surely he should be working 24/7 on targets, speaking to their reps, assessing their situations, contract demands etc. Transfer window should only be where that legwork crystallises. In other words we should have a pretty decent idea right now of summer 2018 targets.

The mistake you make there my friend is that you are applying logic to Everton's transfer strategy. You describe perfectly what all other clubs do, indeed what any sensible person would do but this is Everton.
Our transfer strategy is to identify the positions we are weak in, say left back, and then don't buy a left back. We go and spend a fortune on a player and then not play him, or if we do play him we play him out of position so that we nullify any affect he may have had.

Did you think Sam did anything else lol

Wouldn't want to buy an air raid shelter off him tho, be glad when he's history.

It,s got to the point that I can just about manage to watch 15 mins of this club before the penny drops - are the players bothered enough to try today.

We will be one of the worst teams not to go down this season - just seems to be no heroes left in a blue shirt anymore.

Would’nt even trust him in the scouting role. Surely in his current role, he must have watched a number of players that we have signed during ‘his watch’. In truth very few are the required standard and have cost the club 10s of millions. It would just be cheaper to sack him and pay up his contract then allow him to waste more signing players.
