I think this homesickness epidemic has become a bit of a sop for players who can’t cut the mustard. Yes, I understand that Everton is no longer seen as an elite ‘top’ club, that it’s a stepping stone club, but I don’t accept that it is any more homesick inducing than say Stoke, or Burnley. I haven’t heard players from clubs at similar level to us complain of homesickness to anywhere near the level I’m hearing it out of L4.
I’m not buying it...

I reckon it's the culture shock of seeing Williams, Rooney and Fat Sam scoffing fry ups each morning and only being able to order pie gravy and chips at lunch.

Had he of taken his chance first time there is a good chance we would be talking about him bagging the winner. Instead he took a touch in a crowded box and was predictably blocked. Looked to be the difference between a striker in top form and what Sandro is currently in.

I've banged on in the past about not developing our own players but I think it's probably best for both parties if he's moved on in the summer for a small profit.

Why he didn’t hit that first time I have no idea.

just meant from spain in general, i'd probably hate living in britain moving from a nice hot country as well tbh. I doubt our facilities which are a bit in the dark ages for modern football help tbh. These modern footballers do seem to like everything easy and laid on a plate for them, it does seem.
Is FF really in the dark ages??

In the few minutes that he played you could see the same player playing in the same way.
I am not sure that he actually is a natural striker. I think he may be more of a midfielder playing as a striker. He gives lots of effort, his movement is good but seems happier playing all over the pitch rather than trying to get into the real danger areas.
