Are we talking about the same David Moyes that was treading water for the last 2/3 seasons he was here for? Or is there another one who is decent? Or have we got a time machine to get the Moyes when he first joined us?

Moyes could always be relied upon to guide us to 7th or 8th spot, sometimes even 6th or 5th.

Unfortunately Moyes is not the manager he was. Sacked from his last three clubs and soon to be sacked from West Ham.

And football was different back when Moyes was in charge of us. There was less competition. Man City weren't a force until the end of his Everton tenure, nor were Spurs.
