Interesting article. For those of us who have wondered aloud why Gordon hasn't been pushed to the U23s:

I seem to remember the RS having similar problems with Gerrard when he first broke into their team, he had the body of a teenager and then went through a growth spurt, that caused him niggling injury problems and hindered his development for a while. Just maybe the coaching staff see the slight frame of Gordon that isn’t an issue at under 18 level, but will be more of an issue in the more physical under 23 set up. The talent is there with Gordon, we and him need to patient with his development.

The u18s game in semi final v chelsea is 11am ko and the other semi final same time is Arsenal v Spurs,both games go to extra time and pens if needed

Very good chance of the league and cup double for our u18s if we carry on like we have,win that man utd game next week as its 1st v 2nd and we go 2 points ahead with game in hand

In the u23s league,the leaders play tomorrow and could go 10 points above us though we will have 2 games in hand,our last 2 games in the u23s league could be interesting if we needed them,Liverpool 2nd last,Man utd last game

Decent goals, bit odd that he played u16 then looks like sub for u18s , didn’t recognise the few u18s in that shot , maybe some kind of scratch game as their fixture is tomorrow.
