Sir Landon Of Donovan

You'd think with the extra fanbase it would bring over the years from the US, Robert Earl's involvement, sale of merchandise etc, that some of the transfer cost would be clawed back.

Please Everton, don't **** up this golden glorious opportunity to acquire someone that makes us truly competitive with any team in the league.

I think I believe the echo more than NSNO website sadly. Although I will always hope that Everton will pull another rabbit out of the hat like they did with the Fellaini deal. If we did sign Donovan and no one left it would easily be Moyes's best summer at Everton as our first 11 and even squad will be complete meaning in the future we could operate as a 1 in 1 out basis. The starting 11 would be as good as any in the league if he does sign:

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Heitinga Baines
Arteta Fellaini
Donovan Bilyaletdinov Pienaar
Saha

well rember we still get him in januaryand we can ask for loan til may witch will be good drolls can ya imagin

To add to that Osman and all our prospects who could come good. I think we could have a great future ahead of us. Its easy to get disheartened looking at what Man City can do but we can still take Chelsea, Arsenal or Man Utd's place in the top 4. More likely Man Utds.

Would love it but just can't see it, we don't have money and there are other areas in the team that would be a priority over this.

The only way I could see it happening is if Pienaar left.

Agreed, but it's not like we have the chance to get a superstar Left Back/Centre Half is it really?

Donovan is no Kanchelskis down the right, but man he is a big player and will be a terrific addition to our squad. Would help promote Everton to NO end aswell.

What area would that be? We already have cover in every positon apart from LB where Neville can play as cover since he was an England International there. The main thing we are missing and have missed for a long time is pace and Donovan gives us that as well as being able to play a lot of roles.

I've always thought we'd get him on loan again in Jan and we'll have time to maybe scrape together funds for a permanent switch. That being said, has there ever been another player not at Everton who's had as much press on the OS? Hmmm.

Not that I recall. Rooney maybe.

But certainly not this level.

But then again Donovan just fits in at Everton. Did from day one.

I'm watching and seeing what happens. Got a lot of respect for him.

Don't want him going to anyone else, and tbh I don't think he would. Hence the respect.
