For Moshiri or any buyer? Serious question cos I’ve not got a scooby. Or is it that Moshiri can buy the other 51% at an already determined value irrespective of any future increase in the value of the company
Yes. It's not an option over the other 51% (because a large proportion of the shares, say around 20%, are owned by minority shareholders, fans, etc).
However, the significant holdings (Kenwright, Woods, et al) are all subject to options. The value of those shares will be in line with what Moshiri paid for the initial 50%, so those shareholders won't see the benefit of growth in those shares during the post-Moshiri investment era - that growth essentially belongs to Moshiri.
That applies to Moshiri exercising his options, not to third party buyers, however the options will also stipulate that they can't sell to anyone else (unless he waives his rights).
