It is weird that people think he is a decent player just because he scored some goals.

Poor positional knowledge, vision, finishing and team-play.

Players like Niasse can save a game or two but you can’t form an offense plan by focusing them.

I think he is behind Cenk and DCL.

You can't be serious over Adrian Heath

Do goals not require positioning ? ..
Can play some decent through balls too ..

You can score without know where to move but you can’t lead an attack or be the center in offensive formation without knowing where\when to stay and go.

What I am saying is Niasse may be a decent sub who gets in the game and scores by the chaos he created in opposition’s defence but you can’t create an offensive plan with him as sole striker. On the other hand, Cenk and even DCL has this ability.

He’s better than any of us realised. Whatever limitations he has he’s been one of our most important players this season despite his lack of game time.

He is our second leading scorer after hardly playing, he's a handful for centre halfs because he does what centre halfs hate, he runs the line and gets in behind them, something we lack when he's not on the pitch.

I think that some strong views were expressed about Martinez for signing him. I’m not sure where that leaves us now.

Two subsequent managers have also to date failed to sort out our plodding midfield - one of the causes of Martinez downfall.

Quite a good point actually. Popular opinion was already massively against Martinez when Niasse was signed in RM's last transfer window, so by association, the minute Niasse showed signs of struggling, he quickly became a lightning rod, unfairly, for criticism in the last few months of the regime.

The loan to Hull has definitely helped Niasse improve....

He has great attitude & enthusiasm he is quick & knows where the goal is...

Super sub 4 me....but love it when he scores....

If we played this lad in a 4-4-2 alongside someone who actually can flick a header as opposed to letting the ball hit off his head, he would score for fun.

He is no good in lone striker role.

Cue someone schooling me in how 4-4-2 is the past while I think I will do myself self harm if I ever see a 4-3-2-1 again in my life with two plodding defensive centre mids against poor opposition at home.
