I love how Niasse is suddenly brilliant and Tosun stinks, even if he hasn't had a single chance in the box. Tosun's movement is quite good, actually, and he would've finished that in his sleep. A bit of patience, folks.

Frankly, there were minimal opportunities at either end until Rooney was put in.

If our former manager had got his way, we'd have properly replaced Lukaku, and signed a left sided centre back too....

No definitely not. I remember posting after the Watford game about how I'd done a complete 180 on him, after coming to terms with the position we were in and realising what a player like him could offer that precious few others in this squad can - hard work and a never-say-die attitude. Not a great footballer by any means, but he has more than served a purpose in this team.
