Are we in a relegation battle right now?

Are we relegationally challenged?

  • No, too early in season, over 38 games there will be at least 3 crapper teams

We’re not, but it’s sad and quite pathetic to see us at the current level we’re at. Last year we stood alone in 7th, better than the rest but still short of the top 6. This year we’re just another team in the bottom 14, all as bad as each other, all parking the bus and playing for draws and looking to win one game in three. Although right now we genuinely look worse than both Crystal Palace and West Ham which is some achievement. Thankfully stoke and Swansea are abysmal so that’s two out of three relegation places sorted. We should be able to avoid the last.

We'll stay up no bother.Mainly because there are still, worst sides in the league than us.But what a waste of season. We are way off the elite sides.Thing's haven't quite gone to plan since Martinez (and he had to go) was booted out of Goodison.

It's important for the Big Sam brand that he cons a lot of people into thinking we are in a dogfight. So I'd expect a couple of bad losses coming up to cause fear and help his usual narrative of being a miracle worker when we win a couple in March to ease pressure.

The answer is still a huge no. We need 13 from 15.

We have WBA Leicester Palace Brighton Newcastle Southampton etc all at home still to come. We should get 45 points.

Not going down based on the dross below us. I cannot believe we are sat in 9th place when I genuinely can't think of one decent 90 minute performance this season. The sides below us must be truly atrocious

In 9th place but closer to the relegation zone than to 7th. (Closer by goal difference, same points though but just shows how we have fallen) I think it shows just how boring the league has become. Top 6 win every week (virtually) the rest beat each other and hope for draws by parking the bus to ensure they don’t go down. If we lose to West Brom at home, my confidence will start to wain. We will hit 40 points but I think the relegated team will have higher tally’s than normal so we will look close to it. Huddersfield, Newcastle and Swansea all outplayed us and we got the luck to win and see them out, that luck has left us.

West Brom nothing less than three points will do. If a draw or loss we will be fighting for our lives.

No were not going down and we shouldn't have a manager whose only known for avoiding relegation and looking for bribes.

Has anyone who thinks we are in danger of relegation actually watched any premier league football? There are some dire teams in the bottom half.
