At the time we got Bolaise. Who was the better player, him or Zaha? For my money Bolaise was the better player at the time and without that injury who would know what he could of achieved.

I think you just need to look at his record over each and every individual season he played to categorically prove that he was an awful and still is an awful player.

Zaha was signed by Ferguson as he was showing a lot of potential which is now bearing fruit.

Or he may show him how to defend like a proper centre half. Keane for me needs to go back to basics and simply defend, if that means starting with clearing your lines, so be it.
In disliking SA don't let it blur things we all know he is good at...DEFENDING

Was I critiquing? We all know what he'll do. And the point is he'll make Keane better in a defensive first system. The big question is can he be improved in a more open and fluid system.

Sam does indeed work wonders with players. It's incredible how he got Chris Samba and Lamine Kone playing, yet no sooner did he leave Blackburn and Sunderland they nosedived.

Keane was good at Burnley as they defended very deep which meant he rarely got turned. We play a higher line so now he gets turned and is caught out of position. I think he is young enough to adapt and I am sure SA will sort him.

Yet Burnley have actually improved since losing him and we've got worse, despite apparently enhancing our defence with a superior goalkeeper, and with him in particular giving some atrocious individual performances.

Not to suggest he will never improve, but at the moment, he's not even shown 1 glimpse of 1 quality I can say gives me hopes he will come good.

SA is here short term so hopefully gets him back to basics for the next manager to progress him

Even tho we love him and his cult status will never go away we really should look to sell him this window, if we got 10m, half the Walcott fee I would be happy, same with Lennon, two players who we should not really see much more of after the last two signings, both going on good terms

You would think these two players are ripe for moving on now. Alot will depend on whether the type of clubs interested can at least match the wages these players are on at Everton. If not, I don't see them moving. Lennon is out of contract in the summer perhaps?
And yes, they'd go on good terms.

Moist may help us out.
