I think both players you mention walk straight into our first team.

No idea what to make of that though, as you say.
 

it entirely depends on the price for me.

he's got pace and experience, each of which we need. his end product last season was quite good too, 19 goals I think it was. the question now is two-fold:

1. his attitude moving to Everton
2. the system Sam sets up

frankly, I think we need to focus on a left back first, we have Bolasie/Lookman/Vlasic already. but hopefully they're multitasking, but this isn't the worst signing of all time if it happens.

No, it won’t be.

And IMO he is vastly supurerior an option than any of those you mention.

And I am pleasantly surprised with our two signings so far.

I was half expecting Finch Farm to be yard dog city by rugs stage of the windiest.

But Cenk and Theo is a good start.

Don’t forget also.....Theo has always claimed that he was more a striker than owt else.....we might see him get a run out in that position for us.

Yes he has been. He was pretty much guaranteed a starting spot in the front three until last season. Basically his crime is he’s not as good as Ozil Lacazette and Sanchez. For a long time though Wenger banked on his goals from out wide.
 

Im not saying he's gash, Im just thinking he isn't what we really NEED at the moment. We have, what, 16 matches in the next 5 months? And we already have 4 wingers? Whats the point here?

It's a world cup year and Theo will want to force his way into Southgate's plans. Whisper it, but I think we've made the smartest signing of the January window
