That is pure Sam Hammam.

What a load of old sweeping it under the carpet bollocks that statement is.

Relax Dave, Further comments from Moshiri now released.

"I am profoundly sorry that, in the course of my near two year period in control of this club, I have made matters worse and the club now stands at a low ebb. It was never my intention to bring that state of affairs about, but that is where we are and I recognise that fact and promise to work tirelessly to take the club back to being a respected organisation and competitive force again both in the PL and in our domestic cup programme. My decision making on managerial appointments have, I concede, contributed to that on-field decline. I will also redouble my efforts to strengthen the club's parlous commercial performance - an issue I've been unable to address in any significant way since my arrival. And, lastly, I'd like to take the opportunity this occasion affords me to acknowledge that the stadium plans - though still in play and very much achievable - have fallen behind schedule, and that we need to redouble our efforts to keep our fansinformed of developments in a more efficient way."

I honestly cannot see why people have jumped to the assumption that the council is funding 66% of the stadium directly.

My interpretation was that the original SPV agreement is still in place but because the cost estimates are growing this now only represents 66% of the total funding required.
That's not now my belief or that of a lot of others.

The club need to clarify.

FM: “I am not really surprised. I knew he [Allardyce] would do well. The fact that he has done so well is a bonus.”

Farhad Moshiri on the new stadium project: “We try to keep the fans as informed as the Board. We want to work with them, and the message to them is that we have to have a stadium and we will have a stadium.”
lollollollollol

We're just mushrooms to them.

"Being sat at West Ham was the worst experience ever"

Possibly, possibly, but I'm perfectly happy with my position.
What is your position Andy?

If it's 'davek is wrong for feeling negative about how the new stadium is progressing' then I've yet to see anything to support that. I have however seen enough to suggest that Dave is being proven right here (as he almost always is).

Some Evertonians just don't like being faced with reality.

That isn't what he said though is it.

"I have followed Sam for many years. I read his autobiography before recruiting him so he is a real man and it is real football. What you can see is he is a good tactician, but he has a tidy football brain, he makes things simple and he makes things clear." is a bit different.
...so that IS what he said then.

I hate each and every one of these idiots representing us. Never has such a bunch of incompetent chancers sat at the head of a historically prestigious football club like ours. We need to get rid of them all to restore some belief and pride back. Anyone thinking that the council are handing over 300 million are off their heads.
