Mustava Leak

..I suppose I might be naive but if they provide information about the new stadium build I assume they are telling the truth. Probably just the way I am. I see no reason why folk would not want to say things as they are.

I managed a major government IT project and always found it better telling my stakeholders how things were. It was very often bad news (increased costs, delays, performance issues etc) but it genuinely was the best approach.

Here's the thing though: if they produce some images of a stadium/model tonight fully costed and investors said to be in place and all is green for go - that would be a massive deviation from the downbeat NYE message from the CEO on the status of the project....so how could anyone take it seriously?

I've been a project manager in the past, best to be honest and give bad news straight away and try to work and improve as it goes along.

Did you think Moshiri was telling the truth when he explained that the reason we never signed Sissoko was because James McCarthy is a part of the Everton family and we don't turn our backs on our own?

:coffee:

Government projects are usually legally required to be open and transparent about how they are managed, Everton not so much.

As a former IT project manager myself I'm surprised you confessed to this Mr Eggs.
