Clearly Sam wants to buy this window, and seemingly the only way we can do taht is by getting rid of some of our half decent players, as opposed to the chaff. if that is the strategy, we absolutely must not let him go until the guy he wants in is brought in at the same time. we don't want another Lukaku/Giroud situation. surely they know that though...

We actually don't have many half decent players anymore mate so if we shift the huge amount of tripe we are currently stuck with I'll be more than happy.

Who do you think is half decent who we have got rid of Kev?

He's only been on the pitch for a few hours and he's our 3rd best player. We are taking a chance on a guy who played in an attacking system and DCL.

Lol

If we say good bye to Pickford or Coleman, everyone else is fair game to be launched in the bin

But on a second note, wouldn’t give that fat ted a penny

If we got ANY money for him I’d be chuffed to bits. He is so bad it’s untrue, an occasional knack of being in the right place at the right time should not give him carte blanche to be at this club, sell and buy better asap

Oumar had a great chance to impress starting against Utd and choked. His goals per min stats are impressive though, far superior to DCL. As an impact sub he's vastly more potent than Valencia of last season.
It's a big gamble on Tosun being an instant success and staying fit as DCL has so little goal threat. It's obvious that Sam has been told he has to trim the bloated squad to raise funds to buy again and the Prince is to be sacrificed.

But we aren’t bloated with strikers. Take out dcl who is still a youth player really, you have tosun and Sandro. Realistically you need 3 strikers and a youth striker (especially as we were in Europe this season). He needs to be trimming the surplus in midfield. Decide which midfielders he wants or doesn’t. besic and klaasen are two he doesn’t seem to fancy. And one of jags or Williams as well as stek.
Unless he has another striker set to sign as Niasse leaves, then ok (il be gutted though)

Glad he's proved a few people and ex managers wrong if he's sold. Can't fault his attitude and commitment if nothing else. Good luck to him where ever he ends up

He has joined the ranks my all time favourite Everton players.

Not for his ability, just there us sommat about the lad I took to.

(others on the list include Gary Jones, Mick Lyons, George Telfer, Peter Eastoe, Imre Varadi, Joe Parkinson, Brian McBride, Timmy Cahill, Gerard Deuleufeo and Seamus)

Niasse, proven scorer in this league. and terrific attitude

Great attitude mate as you say but is he the level we require? Are we going to replace him would be of importance and if we could then I'd be more than happy to say goodbye. Since his ban he's come back and looked barely capable of any decent hold up play ( though credit where it's due his pass to Gueye for the goal against Bournemouth was sweet)

He wasn' or good enough for us to sign in the first place so if there is a chance to recoup what we paid I'd take it ( based on someone coming in )

He needs to be trimming the surplus in midfield.
Clearly but he has to find clubs who want these players. Klassen has been an expensive disaster who can't even make the subs bench and McCarthy is a crock who typically can't make it to 5 games before injury. He's likely here until summer as even a loan would be a big gamble on wages.
Morgan is sellable at a loss so it's up to Sam if he feels he could use that money to find an attainable and affordable improvement.

I get that. Has to wait for offers to come in. But it’s just foolish to let a striker go when you are short in that position just because no one wants to buy the midfielders.

Won us 3 points against Bournemouth. Was pivotal in the comeback against Watford which was 3 points as well. Saved us vs palace, so another point. Haven’t even looked at any assists he has. But that’s 7 points. Without them, we would be 17th.

I don't agree with the sale unless another forward is incoming then. He is limited in terms of all round game but has pace and finishing ability if fed in. I think he should stay as an option but it looks like he's off. Thank you Oumar
