If Lescott was worth the £24 million, then I'm worth £500K and Lionel Messi is worth the entire continent of Europe.

Some people need to get a grip.

Thing is, whatever his market value is isn't the thing. Near enough every centre back we've had in the past couple of years has played better alongside him, he organises.

Add to that the possibility of us selling a key player two years running, what message does that give off? Were meant to be showing we have ambition to the likes of Pienaar, Arteta and that.

Fair points.

When I think of our potential CB lineups, Jags is the only constant to be honest. That says it all.

Wow, I honestly didn't realise how highly rated Jagielka was. You can relax though, the day Wenger pays £18m+ on a player is the day pigs can fly.

It's easy to forget, because of his injury and last season being rendered a right off. However, just before the injury he was probably the best English CB out there, and maybe on par with the best defenders in the league. And I'm not one for making biased comments, or at least I try not to, but I'll stand by that. And I'm confident this season he'll regain that form.

Only got to page 17 and too much to comment on already!! :o

Err... I think you should check who's won more titles and trophies. The last one being a domestic treble and a Champions League in 2010.

Mourinho is frankly well out of Wenger's league. He's also done it whereever he's been.

In three different countries - and is onto his 4th!

Different class is Mourinho. Wenger's not in the same bracket as him.

Lol. Yeah you're right. Mourinho ain't fit to polish Wenger's Gems....

CHECK Wenger's latest quotes about the 8/25 rules.

Players will be sold from Arsenal - because they can't fit all these non-homegrown (i.e. 3 years U21) players in their squad.

Um, yeah whatever. This is Arsenal, the club thats renowned in this country for buying young players with potential and bringing them through their system? How old was Fabregas when he went there? You think they have a prob, cos I don't!!

 I think you need to have a little think yourself son.

Some of your quotes have been frankly all over the shop.

Inter hadn't won a European Cup in 40 years before he went there.

Chelsea something similar regarding a Premier League.

And he made Porto.

So seriously go away have a little think then come back. (y)

Lol. Lmao. Rofl. He made Porto? Made Porto? MADE PORTO??? Mate, you know football existed before Sky Sports right?? Chelsea? Had most of the work done for him, sure he got them the last step off the way but you think they wouldn't of won it without him? Inter? See above. They were one step away, how many Scudetto's before he got there? Again, he took them that final step but all the groundwork was done.

I think you need to step back from the computer before you do yourself an injury.

You've obviously cracked your head.

Like I said. If Arsenal are so far out of sight of Everton - why are they after our players???

Maybe the same reason Man Utd were after Rooney and said to be after Rodwell? According to you we're as big as them. If Arteta goes went to Madrid or Barca would that make us as big as them??
