The sheer amount of drive, energy and commitment he offers is unparalleled in our squad.

Vastly underrated.
Agree.Thought Tom was superb when he came on drove us forward on numerous occasions and in doing so freed up more space for Rooney,Gylfi and Kenny to be more creative in Swansea's half.A great prospect.

The biggest flaw he has is ball control when dribbling, most of the time his body moving faster than the ball, quite wired really.

His main strength is running with the ball and if he fails to improve on this, he’s pretty much very ineffective.

I won't say he changed the game last night, but he was a huge improvement on Schneiderlin in midfield. Well done Tom. I think he needs to start against Chelsea.

Pickford / Kenny Holgate Williams Martina / Gueye Rooney Davies / Lennon Sigurdsson / DCL

4-3-2-1

You mention the word RUN a lot - he is much more of a player than that also Snides can't run so thats a big difference changed the game last night!
Tom was involved in two of our goals !

bollox, his quick forward passing is something none of our other midfielders can do which helped created siggys goal last night.

Did well last night but I still think a spell on the bench is best for him, coming on against tiring opposition when his forward bursts will be more effective, or productive as Ronald used to say.

Loses the ball too easily and then goes down too easily. The reason he loses the ball is because he doesn't' t lay it quick enough and gets caught in possession. This period in his development is a big test, as Allardyce won't have him in the squad, never mind the starting eleven, if he gives the ball away too easily. It's up to him and I for one hope he game's heed of all the advice as his enthusiasm for wanting to play for us is infectious.

Love how even in the first half, and again at half time he was warming up without training bottoms on, in the days when footballers wear snoods and gloves he is old school

Has to start at home. Morgan is playing sideways in slowmotion, Davies is all action going forward, of course he will lose the ball at times but we look so much better when he's in the team.
