do we have too many capable and good middlefielders? is that why transfer rumours are on with so many of them?

or is moyes making space for rodwell?

And just a little English lesson, they are called midfielders. But I like middlefielders better. I'm gonna use that from now on.

yes, sorry my bad english ;) im sure ill write badly many times but i quess some people understand.hehehhh... true, the more the better, as long as those who sit in the bench are feeling good...
lets see what happends, i would like to see new striker in goodison p.

Don't worry about it. Your English is just fine. If you stick around, I'm sure you will learn a lot.

We already signed João Silva, Jermaine Beckford, and Magaye Gueye to add to our strikers.

I agree. There's no such thing as too many (okay, there is, but no at the moment), only good competition for starting places.
I think we're stocking up on options and building for the future with players like Rodwell and Fellaini (who's still only 22).

well thats true, im hoping that Gueye gets his chance....Beckford could be great if he gets moyes trust! my friend is hardcore leeds fan and he was ****ed up when they lost jermaine to us..

damn, i must buy Canal + to see all the games on tv :D

fellaini was great bargain...what a character :) im sure he will get better. rodwell =crownjewell

Watched Gueye against Sydney, he looks QUALITY. Got great touch, speed, linked up well and looked physical enough for a young lad to make it in the Prem. Baxter looked good too, couldn't see all that much as he only got 15 mins or something.

We do have quite a few players who can play in the middle of the park, but we also have versatility in some of these too. As with Arteta, Osman and Pienaar, if there is an overcrowding then they are versatile enough to play out wide as we've seen on many occasions, I think its good to have many midfield options for competition of places which Moyes does well to keep the players happy.

With no European football this upcoming season, we can focus on the Domestic trophies more, so fresh legs are necessary if another day at Wembley is going to happen. With the likes of Fellaini, Rodwell, Cahill, Heitinga, Bilyaletdinov, Osman, Arteta, Gueye and Pienaar we have some great figures, which in my opinion, is one of the best set of midfielders in the league.

If say you took Gerrard, Fabregas (probably leaving anyway), Lampard, Modric, Milner, De Jong and Gibson out of the last seasons top 7 clubs, and say we took out Arteta, how many of them sides would have a better midfield than ours?

Thank you and welcome again(y)(y)

Seriously though, is The Premiership widely watched in your parts..? Or is more the other European leagues?

We can't have too many midfielders since we usually play with 5 on the pitch. There are some positions where we might not need more, but I think most fans would like to get a really good RM/RW into the squad so both our sides can be just as good. I personally would also love for us to get another creative central midfielder if Arteta get injured or need a break.
