I reckon Coleman would have given him a massive pat on the back for that performance.

He didn't have Lennon with him 1st half and I think Rooney hindered him more than helped him, so to come through that 1st half when basically Robertson and Milner tried to isolate him I thought he done a superb job.

Apart from Mane’s one chance he pretty much had him in his pocket the whole game. Big game from him and Holgate. Good to see young blues stepping up where their older colleagues have crumbled in the past.

His positioning as a full-back has been superb in recent weeks. I've noticed that compared to to the way Martina is always either too narrow or too far forward, like yesterday letting Salah in on the inside, Kenny always keeps himself goal-side of his opposition number, forcing him to go around the outside, where Kenny knows he can time the slide tackle.
