Odd as it may seem, I think Allardyce got it right. We were playing for a 0-0, and it was a sound defensive performance. Personally, I thought Salah fouled Martina there. Interesting to see what he does now.
I thought that, there was a definite push
You could also argue Martina was just weak though.

Thoroughly frustrating and uninspiring half. We have more Yellow cards than shots on target. Bunch of cowardly incompetent bottlers continually letting the blue half of Merseyside down. They are beaten before the match even kicks off. Sick to death of the lot of them. Cant see any way back unless they magically decide to put an innings in and show some quality. Extremely disappointing Derby once again.

We have had more yellows than they have had shots on target too though

Liverpool is a club of winners who create their own luck.
Everton is a club of losers who expect to lose and therefore do.
We all know it´s the truth. "Expected losses" tells you all you need to know.

They've won nothing - bar a spawny Lg Cup win on Penalties against Cardiff - for 12 years, get a grip.

We're no where close to them atm and though the tactics I think are right, they've been really poorly implemented.

Rooney needs to be central and Davies needs to be hauled off unfortunately as he's having a shocker.

The two up top aren't holding it up and the ref has given everything in their favour.

Pleased with the defensive effort. I don't think they had a shot on target before what was a great goal.

Unfortunately we didn't get the break of getting in to half time at 0-0, which means we will certainly lose and probably by more than one, but there you go.

Davies has been poor. Rooney hasn't offered the quality of out-ball we've needed either. Predictably, they've also looked to want it more, tackling our forwards at will. I'm not sure how i'd change it really. Sigurdsson is close to useless in this kind of game due to his lack of pace, but we are probably going to have to rely on set pieces for any kind of threat and Baines is injured. Maybe Lookman or Vlasic.

Yes it's ugly to watch but if we had got to ht at 0-0 would we be coming out with all these negative comments?

We have to score now without getting our pants pulled down in the process. Not easy but maybe a change to 3-5-2 would help. Jags for Cutina

Pickford

Holgate Jags Williams

Lennon Gueye. Rooney. Davies. Siggy
