“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

It is hard to escape the feeling that some on here are willing Sam to fail.
If somehow BFS could fail but the club be successful I’d be happy
However that is an impossibility so I’ll grin and bear it till next June when BFS is sacked.
I’ve seen worse managers ( although more likeable men ) than BFS at our club so I’ll just wait for his sacking and hope he doesn’t cause too much damage to the squad

The fat smelly fella who sits in front of us hasn't been there since Big Sam signed. Everyone around that seat is buzzing, it's honestly made my match day experience 100% better (the 2 wins have also helped like). Hoping he doesn't come back.
I didn't want Allardyce here but I'm 100% behind him, anyone who has stopped going to the match can't call themselves a real fan. (smell or not)
by the way glad your matchday experience has improved.

I can’t get my head around the fact any supporter not wanting an Everton manager to be successful. I didn’t want allardyce, but he’ll get my support if he delivers results. Heaven forbid, even in the unlikely event Rafael Benetiz ended up being manager, I’d still want the team to do well.

To be fair I haven't seen a single person say that or that they didn't want Everton to win every single game.

Some, me included, don't think he should be anywhere near the club for reasons explained a thousand times but that doesn't mean I hope he isn't successful. Personally I doubt he will be but that's purely based on his record which is frankly underwhelming putting it very nicely.

You really are obsessed with this aren't you. Why can't you just accept that some fans will have a different opinion to you, but can still be fans, and for gods sake stop judging us. You have absolutely no right to.

Keep making these posts and snide comments and I'll keep responding to them.
Nothing snide about my posts,as I have stated its all about opinion I would never have considered giving up my season ticket when Bingham took over or when he was quickly followed by the underwhelming Gordon Lee.I'm an Everton supporter whoever the manager is.What you do is your business if you feel that giving up your season ticket proves something....I'd have more respect if you'd done it and kept it to yourself until the season was over.

Goodison was full on Saturday and when you think of the performances so far this season I think that shows that supporters support the team/club rather than the manager or individual players.

If we win matches under Allyrdyce then most people will be happy, but even if were to win a trophy there will be a few to complain and moan... this is the way things are and won't change.

I see that some are thinking this is an eighteen month appointment only, I would not be sure of that at all, I think it will depend on results and performances.

There are several basic truths about football fans.

Fans will embrace bad football if it is winning football.

They will be patient with losing football if it is good football.

What they will absolutely not tolerate is bad, losing football.

If Sam's team falls into that latter category he will be toast.

That is what done for bus two predecessors.

But I have this funny wee feeling that Sam is going to give us a mixture of functional and expansive, winning football ;)

Look how wrong we were with Gordon Lee :)

Everyone was pretty "meh" when Gordon was appointed but his teams of '77/78 and '78/79 played some scintillating soccer
