Hello there. First, English isn´t my first language so i apologize if there are some spelling/grammar mistakes. I´m 30 years old Everton fan from Joensuu, Finland. My father has been Evertonian since 70s and he taught me that in our family we support Everton and Tappara(Finnish ice hockey team) so i´ve been a fan since my birth.
My all-time favourite player is Tim Cahill and current favourite is Leighton Baines.
Neither of us have ever visited Goodison park and my father has his 60th birthday this week so im planning to arrange a pilgrimage to Goodison sometime this season so any advices (how to get tickets, which pubs are must-to-see etc) would be essential. Thank you in advance!

Visited your fair city a few years ago for a European League game against Ilves.

Thanks! Wow didn´t expect to see a hockey fan on this board :D Is there a hockey team in Liverpool? Guess it would be fun to watch local ice hockey if schedules match.

Hello mate, lots of kind and helpful people on here.

Home tickets: lots can help you on here, or StubHub will have them, or the official club site. Unless it is category A (the top 6) you should be ok. Sit in the GSE to avoid hearing bad Everton shouts.

Must-see-pubs: The Lisbon. Lots and lots of lads in there, many from out of town and very very frandly.

Many, many years ago there was a team in Liverpool, but I was involved with the team in Manchester that played Ilves in December 1998, I did a radio broadcast from the stadium. Ilves won 7-3 :(
