Hello all..Sunderland fan here..you're getting a good manager in Allardyce..he's the best thing that happened to our club in years..he just creates a good atmosphere about the place..I've seen interviews with ex players of his..Kevin Nolan for one who says he just gets the dressing room together and players will run through brick walls for him..i reckon he'll try to take Lamine Kone from us to Goodison in January..he was an absolute beast playing here for Allardyce...anyway good luck to yous..you'll be ok with Sam.

I was thinking he may go in for Kone. How has he performed since Allardyce left?

To be frank he's gone on like a total prick..he was performing for Allardyce but as soon as Sam left his attitude and performances were awful..he didn't want to play for Moyes..mind there were others..but Kone was always crying off injured..his effort on the pitch was minimal and he seemed distant from the other players whilst playing..he's a good defender when he wants to be and I think if Sam can get him there you'll see the player we had here.

OK, guys.

I have had my strop al day and have just spent a month fielding against the very idea of Sam coming here.

But he is here now and I for one am drawing a line under the Allardyce Wars until such time as actual results on the pitch call for more comment.

In the meantime I am going back on what I said earlier today and will applaud when he is announced later on.

And warmly too.

He is the new Everton manager......in my world that is like he has been made the Pope in Rome.

He leads my religion now.

I would urge those who do not respect the man to at least revere the position.

Manager of Everton.

It is in all our best interests that he does well......I hope every last person on here agrees with that.

So nowt more to do but keep on keepin’ on

And I am now looking forward to going the game tonight :)

Forza Sam.....

COYBB

Agreed with you 100% mate ;)

Admitably I was part of the Anti Sam manager Brigade

I was very down when Big Sam was announced , along with Sammy Lee in the team , Craig Shakespeare however I am cautiously positive about ?

I understand Evertonians are so passionate and have gone thru tough times responses be full of emotion , I can live with this , each one of us should be able to add their views positive / negative - with emotions boiling over

However as far as I am concerned , I will not and cannot go to the extreme of some of the quotes and replies -

1) disowning our beloved Everton
2 ) ( or if I had the privalige of being back in the UK ) by not going to the the match in protest
3) only going to the match with the intent of booing the new manager
4) hoping he gets the sack before he has had one game under his belt
5) therefore it is prefered we trash the new manager at all times - hope he fails and risk being relegated

No Owner , Shareholder , Director manager , player , staff member or supporter is bigger than EVERTON - THE PEOPLES CLUB :)

Yay to that ;)

Hopefully the win last night will boost confidence within the team and with a new manager at Finch Farm heres hoping we get another good result on Saturday against huddersfield.

COYB.

I will support and save judgment for results and performances.

look how happy we were with koeman and look where we ended up. we just don't know how this will turn out.
it could end in dreamland , but it cant get much worse than it has been this season.
